Challenges

The Sentry Gateway 100 project had numerous challenges that affected the occupancy date of Oct 1, 2010. Due to the requirements of DoD contractors, the center areas of the building’s structure were upgraded to accommodate the increased floor loads that DoD contractors require for their sensitive material safes. This project is also located across the street from the TCC, a fully secured data center for the NSA, which presented further challenges.

Results

This project received LEED Gold accreditation and exceeded client expectations on quality and schedule delivery, while achieving the required lease rate and capital return for the investors.
